Saying goodbye

For my final project of my Photographic Bachelors degree we were encouraged to focus on something personal. When completing university my parents had placed our house on the parked and were planning a complete relocation. I had grown up in west Sussex since 2005 and had made some very strong friendship connections stretching from 2016 to the present day. Leaving west Sussex to Devon would mean a lot of land between myself and my long term friends. I chose to take a series of portraits of my chosen family alongside a series of mini photos of memories we had together dating back as far as the earliest days of our friendship. This work was then placed on display in Solent universities BA Degree show which was then opened to the public in June 2022.
